The Granny Square ProjectA Community Outreach Program at the Hyde Park Library
Help us keep our community warm! We are collecting handmade granny squares to assemble into blankets for our local unhoused neighbors. Whether you are a master of the hook or have never touched yarn before, there are many ways to support this project.
How to Participate
- Crochet at Home: Drop off your finished granny squares in the designated Donation Box located inside the library.
- Learn or Teach: Attend our monthly meetings for free instruction, help with your squares, or to help us stitch the blankets together.
- Donate Supplies: We welcome donations of clean, worsted-weight yarn to help others get started.
