Computers & Internet

Public Computers

Hyde Park Library currently offers access to four public computers.  Use it on a First Come/First Serve basis.  Patrons may use a computer for up to one hour.  Use may continue after the allotted hour if there are no other patrons waiting.  Patrons using computers may not eat or drink from an open beverage while doing so.  Sealed, spill-proof beverage containers are permitted.  The computer areas are considered Quiet Study areas and therefore patrons should refrain from talking on their phones or otherwise engaging in disruptive behaviors.

WiFi

In addition to public computers, we also provide free access to WiFi.  Our broadband is robust and oru signal functions in all areas of the library including outside for up to 50 feet surrounding the library.  All users must abide by state and federal laws as well as library policy while using the library’s WiFi network.
