Children’s Programs

The Hyde Park Library aims to provide engaging, entertaining, and educational programs and events for our community.
Our Children’s Librarian, Mrs. B, has been faithfully serving the Hyde Park Library for a number of years. She has been a positive staple on the library’s staff during this time and works tirelessly to develop and nurture a love for literature and libraries in our younger community members. She is incredibly knowledgeable about her collection and loves meeting new families.

Mrs. B hosts a variety of fun, engaging, and educational events for kids of all ages and levels of development including STEM events, story times, book clubs, summer reading program, and much more!

Mother Goose Story Time occurs Mondays at 9:30am in the Children’s Room followed by stay and play. Suitable for babies up to 36 months.

Pre-K Discovery Time occurs Tuesdays at 10:30am in the Children’s Room. Early literacy program for Pre-Kindergarteners. Thematic Programs in Science, Nature & Art!

If you have any suggestions or feedback on our children’s programs, you can contact our children’s librarian, Janet Battistoni (Mrs. B).
