Join us in welcoming an author of many beloved books and notable local treasure Daniel Pinkwater. A resident of Hyde Park and a friend to libraries, Mr. Pinkwater is mostly known as an author of children’s books and YA fiction. His books include Lizard Music, The Snarkout Boys and the Avocado of Death, Fat Men from Space, Borgel, and the picture book The Big Orange Spot. He has also written an adult novel, The Afterlife Diet, and essay collections derived from his talks on NPR (National Public Radio). Mr. Pinkwater will be discussing the ins and outs of the publishing industry, his writing process in general, and taking questions. His beloved collie “The Peach” will also be in residence.
