A note from the Artist:
“My name is Giuseppe Baez. I was born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Puerto Rico. From an early age, I was interested in art. All through my school years I was the person responsible for creating the school posters/banners for the different school events. I attended, informally, several art schools in my early teens. I later attended “El Circulo De Bellas Artes” in Madrid Spain. At the age of 21, for some reason, I stopped painting. I then moved to New York and began my career in Technology. I got married and had two children. Life was busy and time for art was scarce. After 40+ years of artistic inactivity and with my wife’s encouragement I began to paint again. Some people label my work as surreal but I like to think of it as experimental.”
