Peter Elmendorf is a recently retired software developer, having worked in Engineering Design Automation for 32 years, and Clustered File Systems for 10 years. His interest in photography began in 2004, using it as a creative outlet and relaxation practice. This interest has continued to grow with time. Retirement has created an environment that allows more energy to be devoted to the art. While working, his photographs were shared with friends and relatives. Now, he has the space to reach out to a wider audience. His photographic interests are for the most part concentrated on birds (especially birds in flight,) insects, water & reflections, hidden images in ice shapes, trains, railroad equipment & railroad scenes of all kinds, and interesting bridge structures.
Peter’s works will be on display in the Annex for the months of September and October.
