  • Little Women (PG) – Monday, April 8thFour sisters learn about love, life, and loss as they grow through their young womanhood against the backdrop of post-Civil War America. At the heart of the family is the headstrong Jo who aspires, above all else, to forge her own path. Based on the novel by Louisa May Alcott.

  • A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood (PG) – Monday, April 15th – Lloyd Vogel is tasked with creating a profile of Fred Rogers, the creator and star of the successful children’s program Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood. He dutifully goes to the studio where his subject is filming his show, and soon enough, he is sitting down with him, asking him probing questions. However, Fred seems to have a different plan in mind. The interviewee suddenly becomes the interviewer, and he starts to help the writer sent for him in unexpected ways.
  • Temple Grandin (PG) – Monday, April 22ndBased on the writings by its title subject, HBO Films’ Temple Grandin is an engaging portrait of an autistic young woman who became, through timely mentoring and sheer force of will, one of America’s most remarkable success stories. With a tour de force performance by Claire Danes in the title role, the film chronicles Grandin’s early beginnings as a child diagnosed with autism; her turbulent growth and development during her school years; and the enduring support she received from her mother, her aunt and her science teacher. Against all odds, Temple eventually transitioned into a highly-functional, esteemed inventor in the cattle industry, which she revolutionized with her scientific research and designs.This visually inventive film offers stunning insights into Grandin’s world, taking the audience inside her mind with a series of snapshot images that trace her self-perceptions and journey from childhood through young adulthood to the beginning of her career, and beyond.

  • Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris (PG) – Monday, April 29th –  Mrs. Harris, an English domestic servant who falls in love with a couture Dior dress, decides she must buy one of her own. After she raises the funds to buy the dress, Mrs. Harris sets off on a journey to Paris that will change the course of her life. Paul Gallico’s classic 1958 novel inspires the narrative.
